Overview
Central Valley Gas Storage, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE: GAS), is now offering storage services at its market area natural gas storage facility in the Sacramento River valley of north-central California. Central Valley will be providing up to 11 Bcf of working gas capacity, offering flexible, high-deliverability multi-cycle services and hub services. The facility is interconnected with the gas transmission system of Pacific Gas and Electric.Central Valley has obtained a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the California Public Utilities Commission. The facility began providing firm and interruptible services to wholesale natural gas shippers in April of 2012.
